"James Barton having consented, was tried under the Criminal Justic Act on the charge of stealing a wooden yard-wand, a leather needle case and two sprays of artificial flowers, from the dwelling-house of John Snell, of the Old Crown Inn, in Crowland on the 3rd inst., and the Bench, after hearing the evidence and prisoner's reply, dismissed the charge."
