Phipps and Co for a new licence for the Bird in Hand, Long Causeway.  It was the intention of the firm to partly re-construct the old premises to re-build Mr Marriott’s shop which was part of the property and to construct offices for the firm.  The house would not be open on Sundays.  The application was granted".
