“John William Bains, bricklayer, Woodstone, was charged with stealing from the Bee-hive Beerhouse, Albert Place, 3 packets of cigarettes value 3d, the property of John Easson on March 22nd.  Mr F.W Atter prosecuted on behalf of Peterborough Licenced Victualler’s Association. Prisoner pleaded guilty and was fined £1”.
